About Me
I'm Mariya Pominova, a research assistant in the Division of International Finance for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington I started out as an intern here in the summer of 2019 and, currently, I work as a research assistant to the Division Director, where I split my time supporting policy work for international meetings and FOMC meetings and working with officers in our division on research projects.
I graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2018 and a Master's of Science in Economics in 2020.
Research Interests: economic resilience, educational job matching, regional science, labor inequality
My hobbies include fitness, namely running, swimming, weightlifting, and hiking. I also enjoy cooking and exploring new cuisines.
